The NORTH ALLEGHENY HORSEMEN'S ASSOCIATION, was
originated in 1973 as a non-profit riding club is open to all interested
people. The purpose of the Association is to promote riding events and
social activities year round for the entire family. To work in
cooperation with other riding clubs in the area. We work towards better
riding facilities and upkeep of the County Show Rings as well as the
riding trails within the Parks, and to support charities with funds
received from planned events.
In the past years, we have contributed to the
Cumberland Hills Schools, the Try Programs, Western Pennsylvania School
for the Blind, Riding for the Handicapped of Western PA, Inc., and
Children's Hospital. We have also donated to the Leukemia Foundation,
Ronald McDonald House and the Wexford Nursing Home.
Our Membership Meetings are held monthly at
neighboring restaurants. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of
each month. All interested persons are invited to attend one of our
meetings.
